Hemp is an incredible renewable natural resource. If allowed to be harvested in the US, it will be cheaper to grow than cotton. And produce more paper more cheaply than trees. Higher quality, too. Most bike bags are made of Cordura nylon, which is made from petroleum, a totally finite resource that is running out fast. So using hemp helps to conserve petroleum. Hemp can also be turned into automobile fuel, but let's just stop here.
